Hi, I’m Jill. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. I love getting together with friends and sharing with each other over a cup of coffee what God is doing in our lives. It boosts my faith and lifts my heart.
That’s the aim of this blog. I don’t lay any claims to being a great scholar or theologian, but I do love The Word of God and love to write down my thoughts on what I read. Until recently this was in journal form, until I started this blog in March of this year. The idea for a blog came to me when a friend gave me a tiny, single mustard seed, that God told me to plant, while reminding me of a promise He’d made to me over 20 years ago that He was going to use me in creative writing. This seed, that I originally planted in a tiny 5ml medicine cup, has now grown into a flourishing plant (pictured above) and reminds me daily that our God is always true to his promises.
He lives and breathes and works through his people, every single day. It’s good to share what he’s doing, because we can encourage one another that way.
I have asked a couple of fellow ‘keepers of journals’ from my home church to contribute to my blog, so from time time I will post a blog written by one of my friends. These will always be signed by, and attributed to, the writer.
